Vol.2 Modern applications and usage of machine learning in relation to music
Thursday May 16, 2019 19:30 – 20:30
About the events
Machine Learning is becoming more popular and being applied to various industries such as finance and manufacture. What happens if it is combined with sound? These sessions are for people who want to deepen their knowledge by catching up on the basics and usages of machine learning. Applications of the algorithms used in relation to music and speech recognition will be explained in the three sessions.
Continuing on from “Vol.1 modern applications and usage of machine learning to various industries”, Vol.2 focuses on the combination of music and machine learning. Methods of analyzing a stream of sound (music) shall be explained. Various features of music are introduced. Then, combinations of the features and machine learning algorithms will be explained to show the applications to music analysis.
